they wont ask u surrender ciggy.. at least during my time.
surrendering of items are only for illegal items, such as camera
etc i believe. unless ur ciggy are not duty paid la.
Cos my friend told me (went in one week earlier) they will
confiscate from you and return you only during spefic time. My dad
knows I smoke, but my mom doesn't and I never intend to let her
know. So my concern is when to give up those ciggys. Is it before
enlistment ceremony or after. Hahaha. Pardon my ignorance.
